I have sorority life to thank for helping my find the major I am passionate about.
Every since I was young I knew drawn towards two things:
Helping people
Visuals
Knowing these two things I took the route of going into the Communications Disorders and Sciences major. I quickly realized that my passion did not lie there. While I stressed about my future I took on positions in my sorority that gathered my interest. I took on the social media chair, recruitment video and sisterhoods. My energy spiked when working in there roles and I slowly learned what field gave me energy rather than taking it away. Having a photography business and these sorority positions my friends and family were surprised to learn my major was Communication Sciences and Disorders. Sophomore year I decided to make the switch over to the business department to major in Marketing. Since becoming a Marketing major my homework no longer feels like homework. Within my major I get to geek out over data analytics, do website design, create advertisements and so much more! I am forever grateful to sorority life for guiding me to the major I am passionate about through the leadership opportunities given to me.
